I collect Pez dispensers. Wanted to be a Ringling Bros. clown. Climbed to the top of some great mountains. Rafted a few wild rivers. Fly fished some of America's greatest streams. And appeared in Rolling Stone (but let Michael Jackson have the cover).

Over the years I've delivered papers and dog food, served fries and flipped burgers, painted houses, sold American flags, worked as a Hydroflume technician, performed stand-up, entertained at weddings, taught at a university and written for great clients like Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, Hoover, Dad's Pet Foods, GNC, Mellon Bank, PNC Bank, First Commonwealth Bank (I guess I like banks), the St. Louis Cardinals, the St. Louis Blues, Pennsylvania Tourism, The Alleghenies, Magellan, and a whole lot more.

When I'm not writing for clients, I'm writing articles and filling journals with ideas and stories. Back in college, my buddy Joel and I called these random stories and thoughts Miscellaneous Etcetera. So that's what this is - part blog, part portfolio, part resume. A place where what I've done and what I'm doing all come together.
